It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved leader, manager, friend, and cornerstone of our funeral homes and memorial gardens. For 32 years, Lisa Wilt served thousands of families in some of their darkest hours. She was a light of hope for those who grieved. Now, it’s our turn to grieve for her family. Loving and caring for our communities was Lisa’s passion; it was her true calling.
Our families at Louisville Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home East, Louisville Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home West, and Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky, will be forever grateful for the example she set for all of the family service counselors she taught, nurtured and led for all of these years. Lisa’s words are echoing down the halls of our locations today, and will be for a long time to come. “Take care of your families. Always put them first.”
