About Our Cemetery:
February 22, 2024- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and The Volusia County Sheriff's Office, honored the late PBSO Deputy Frank Genovese, who was killed in the line of duty in 1982. Deputy Genovese was also a former Daytona Beach Police Officer. His body was removed from the original location at Daytona Memorial Park and moved a short distance to the, "Heroes Garden," and reintured in the place of honor, reserved for first responders.
Deputy Genovese was laid to rest next to his close friend, Daytona Beach Police Officer, Sam Etheredge Jr. who was also killed in the line of duty (in 1980).
