About Our Cemetery:

February 22, 2024- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and The Volusia County Sheriff's Office, honored the late PBSO Deputy Frank Genovese, who was killed in the line of duty in 1982. Deputy Genovese was also a former Daytona Beach Police Officer. His body was removed from the original location at Daytona Memorial Park and moved a short distance to the, "Heroes Garden," and reintured in the place of honor, reserved for first responders. Deputy Genovese was laid to rest next to his close friend, Daytona Beach Police Officer, Sam Etheredge Jr. who was also killed in the line of duty (in 1980).

Established in 1950, Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona Beach, Florida is located east of Interstate 95, three miles south of International Speedway Boulevard. The grounds consist of rolling hills, paved streets and walkways, beautiful plants, flowers, and trees, a scattering pond, a lake with swans, and many statues and monuments including a veterans memorial wall and law enforcement memorial wall with sitting benches. Many of the area's most successful and influential families have private mausoleums here.

Daytona Memorial Park offers traditional in-ground burials, cremation (niches, benches, scattering garden and pond), and elegant outdoor mausoleum and private family estates.
