About Our Cemetery:

Established in the 1950s, Rivermonte Memorial Gardens in Springfiel, Missouri is located at the intersection of Hwy 65 and Hwy 60, near Springfield Lake, Sequiota Park, and Springfield Nature Center and Nature Trail. The area is known as the cemetery on the hill, with beautiful landscaping and hills and a Garden of Crosses with three large granite crosses overlooking the garden at the top of the hill.

Rivermonte Memorial Gardens offers traditional in-ground burials, the only indoor mausoleum in Springfield, indoor glass front or granite front niches for cremation, lawn crypts, a pet cemetery with a special garden for police dogs, and soon a cremation garden.

After my granite bench was destroyed by the driver of a truck that drove through the cemetery and then left without taking responsibility, Robert Swearngin, was wonderful at going the extra mile to get the video from the security cameras. Robert called police and filed a necessary report. It was very comforting to have this support from the staff of Rivermonte.

Daisy March was outstanding. She drove to Jefferson City to pick up the much-needed death certificate. Due to delays from Covid19, the state was behind on processing. Kudos to Daisy for going above and beyond in these uncertain times.
